Help Trishia get to California!
Hi friends,
This is an opportunity to support our dear friend Trishia, who is so many things to us including, an artist, curator, designer, death doula, queer Filipina femme, heart- forward human, and overall friend to sensitive children, adults, animals and plants.
This is also an opportunity to support Pinta!
Pinta: Trishia’s service pup, spirit dog, familiar
- 3 years old beagle chihuahua mix
What’s happening: Trishia and Pinta are moving from Brooklyn, NYC back home to San Diego, CA, on an as-yet unknown but temporary basis to begin the work of healing with family and to gain control of their finances.
A bit of backstory:
- T suffered an abrupt, forced move 2 years ago which shook their finances. They are still recovering and living a bit over their means. They need support with moving expenses that will ultimately help them get back on track.
- Wrist injury since Dec 2024 - cant move/lift heavy items by themselves or work for long periods at a time
- Moving to return to family home / do the intergenerational work
- Cant afford rent
What they need help with financially:

Moving expenses:
- Need help with storage ($88/mo for 4 months minimum) = $352
- Movers: 2 people at least and a van/uhaul to storage + ad hoc cars to drop off things to other places/spaces —> Uhaul/friend labor: $250
- Gas for friend’s vehicles/misc moving ubers: $50-100
- Moving supplies: $200
- Airline Bags (flights are paid for) ($230 for 3 checkin)
November rent ($1500)
+ interest fees from gofundme (8%)
