Hi everyone! My name is Trinity Baush, and I’m a sophomore at the University of Connecticut. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to lead a team on a two-week medical internship in Peru through Volunteers Around the World (VAW). We’ll be working in local clinics, assisting medical professionals, and providing essential care to a local community in Cusco Peru. As a first-generation student aspiring to attend medical school, this experience is invaluable to me. However, the cost—including travel, providing the medication and care to these communities, and program fees—is significant. I’m reaching out for support to help make this dream a reality. Any contribution, big or small, will bring me one step closer to making a difference in global healthcare. All donations will go to the costs of the trip and any additional will go to VAW Global to further support the communities we travel to. I have already raised $1,450 and the total is $2,295!
