As some of you may know me well, while others may not my name is Trevor Munger and today I was forced to swallow my pride and humble myself today to make this post and ask for help. This has been an extremely tough year for my son and I, as some of you who know me know that at one point I had full custody before this family court battle began. Today on 7/24/25 my proposed 50/50 custody was denied and after asking for time to come up with the financial resources to get a private attorney instead of my court appointed legal council the judge denied my request through my case out and awarded full custody to my sons mother while I was only given visitation. Those who know me know I've been working hard the past 3 1/2 years traveling the country working as a contractor for BNSF and Union Pacific rail companies but a couple months ago I lost my job and was forced to relocate 120 miles away from my baby boy. This has been the hardest and most devastating event of my life not only for me but my son as well. I'm asking for anyone who could help share this post or even donate even $1 dollar to help me get to my goal of $1500 so I can obtain a reputable attorney for my appeal I'm filing with Walnut Creek family court it would be life changing. Just sharing this would mean the world to me and my son. My father faced similar circumstance fighting for custody of me as a child with the same outcome only to be awarded visitation rights. The last thing I want for my son is for him to go through those same circumstances. If I can get to $1500 any other legal fees occurred will be able to be payed by me with a monthly payments. Those who know me know how truly hard this was for me to reach out for help, like most men we don't want to seem weak or fall short especially when it comes to our children so I'm doing this with a heavy heart in hopes that somehow some way I can make this happen for my son.
