After being yelled at by my Alderperson simply for voicing concerns, and seeing how many more neighbors were equally frustrated with the permanent bike-lane barriers being forced into our community, I knew I had to step up. What began as one bad interaction grew into a united movement of residents demanding transparency, honesty, and true community inclusion. We are not against cyclists—we are against decisions made without the people. This fundraiser supports our efforts to push back against these unnecessary barriers and to remind our government officials that power comes from the community. When the majority says NO, our leaders must listen!

Our neighborhood deserves streets that are safe, functional, and designed with real community input—not just political agendas. That’s why Archer Guardians exists: to give residents a voice, demand transparency, and hold decision-makers accountable for how our tax dollars are spent.

Recently, proposals to reduce lanes on Archer Avenue have raised serious concerns.

We believe our community deserves better. We demand:

• Responsible use of taxpayer funds, focused on real improvements that benefit residents.

• Genuine community engagement, where every voice can be heard and considered.
