After years of raising legitimate safety concerns from unsafe sidewalks and traffic hazards to ignored incidents involving students, I’m launching a community transparency project to make Cobb County School District’s safety and traffic data accessible to everyone.
This is not a personal fundraiser. It’s a public-access effort to obtain and share official safety data that affects every family, PTA, and community partner. The district has quoted a cost in excess of $1,500 to process and release the Open Records request. Rather than pay privately and keep that information limited, I’m raising the funds publicly so the results belong to the community.
Once released, I’ll publish the results publicly and share them with families, media, and county officials to help identify problem areas and drive real solutions. Safer crossings, better signage, and stronger oversight.
Transparency protects students. Let’s make sure this information is public for everyone.
This initiative is completely nonpartisan and community-driven. It seeks transparency and accountability around public safety information that affects all families, regardless of background or belief. All funds raised will go directly toward the Cobb County School District’s Open Records processing fee, with full documentation and data shared publicly once released.
