Dear Friends, Allies, and especially my trans and non-binary siblings,

I want your help being in an important room. Because I'm an Orange County Commissioner for the OC Veterans Advisory Council and an Equality California board member, I've been invited to the EQCA California LGBTQ Leadership Summit being held in Sacramento this August 24-26.

Representation is critical to our progress and I will be one of very, very few transgender leaders to attend. I feel so strongly about this that I've already paid for my travel, but it's a strain on my finances. I've had some health challenges that have kept me from working since November of last year and would very much welcome support from those that care about our community.
