This year, we are honored to host the 5th Encuentro Nacional Trans Latinx — a powerful national gathering centered on healing, empowerment, and leadership for the trans Latinx community. The event will take place at the Best Western Plus Hacienda Hotel in Old Town San Diego (4041 Harney St, San Diego, CA 92110) on Thursday November 13th with a

Health Fair and Friday November 14th with Empowerment Panels, and we are expecting around 100 trans Latinx individuals and allies from across the country.

What Is the Encuentro?

The Encuentro is not just a conference — it’s a movement rooted in justice, resilience, cultural pride, and collective care. It's a space for:

Healing and wellness

Leadership development

Community building

Strategic organizing

And most importantly — belonging.

Many of our participants face economic and systemic barriers. For many, this will be their first time attending a national gathering made by and for the trans Latinx community.

Les escribimos en nombre de Proyecto Trans Latinas para pedir su apoyo y hacer posible algo verdaderamente hermoso.

Este año tenemos el honor de organizar el 5to Encuentro Nacional Trans Latinx — un poderoso encuentro nacional enfocado en la sanación, el empoderamiento y el liderazgo de la comunidad trans Latinx. El evento se llevará a cabo en el Best Western Plus Hacienda Hotel en Old Town San Diego (4041 Harney St, San Diego, CA 92110) el día Jueves 13 de noviembre con una Feria de Salud

y viernes 14 de noviembre con Paneles de Empoderamiento, y esperamos recibir a aproximadamente 100 personas trans Latinx y aliadxs de todo el país.

¿Qué es el Encuentro?

El Encuentro no es solo una conferencia — es un movimiento basado en la justicia, la resiliencia, el orgullo cultural y el cuidado colectivo. Es un espacio para:

Sanación y bienestar

Desarrollo de liderazgo

Construcción de comunidad

Organización estratégica

Y lo más importante — el sentido de pertenencia.

Muchas de las personas que asisten enfrentan barreras económicas y sistémicas. Para muchxs, esta será la primera vez que participan en un encuentro nacional hecho por y para la comunidad trans Latinx.

Apoyo para viajes de personas con necesidad económica

Hospedaje y alimentación durante el evento

Servicios de bienestar y cuidado comunitario
