Support Tracy, Dedicated Caregiver: Car Engine Totaled

My mom, Tracy Pendley, is a great-grandmother, a caregiver, and one of the most selfless people I know.

She’s spent her life caring for others, professionally and personally. By day, she provides in-home care for elderly clients in the Lampasas area. And when she’s not working, she’s helping care for her 82-year-old father and her sister. She gives everything she has to make sure others are safe, fed, and supported.

Last week, while working an overnight shift with one of her senior clients, her car was stolen and hotwired right outside their home. When it was recovered 40 miles away, the damage was devastating: the engine was completely ruined.

My mom is on a fixed income and only has liability insurance, which means none of the repairs are covered. That car was her lifeline, not just to her clients, but to her family. Without it, she can’t do the work she loves, and she can’t keep caring for the people who rely on her.

We’re asking for $3,000 to help replace the engine and get her safely back on the road. She’s not the type to ask for help, but she deserves it more than anyone I know.
