Hi, my name is Toria, I’m 22 years old and I was diagnosed with triple positive breast cancer—a form of breast cancer that is HER2-positive, estrogen receptor-positive, and progesterone receptor-positive.

At an age when most people are just starting to chase their dreams and start their life, I’m now facing a battle no one should have to fight, especially this young.

Triple positive breast cancer is aggressive but also treatable, especially with targeted therapies. We are staying hopeful and focused on the path ahead, which will include chemotherapy, targeted treatments, surgery, and more.

This experience has been a painful reminder that breast cancer isn’t just a disease that affects older women.

The chemotherapy has already started to take a toll on my body. One of the hardest parts so far has been losing my hair. As a 22-year-old woman, this has been incredibly difficult and heartbreaking—it’s shaken my confidence and deeply affected my self-esteem.

With this GoFundMe, we’re hoping to raise enough to purchase a high-quality human hair wig to help me feel more like myself again during treatment. Alongside the wig, these donations will make a world of difference during an incredibly difficult time. They will help with essential costs like transportation to and from the hospital, childcare for my one-year-old daughter, and everyday household bills—things that become overwhelming when you’re unable to work.

Anything raised beyond these costs will be donated to the Teenage Cancer Trust & Cancer Research, in the hope that one day no one else will have to go through this.
