Joa and I have recently had a financial setback that we were ill-prepared for. Due to these unforeseen circumstances, we're reaching out to our community for support.

On Thursday, March 5th, the two of us and our coworker were in a non-injury car accident on the 580-N heading to work. The collision was caused by a single-driver car speeding up behind us in the carpool lane and then attempting to pass around us.

We have been in communication with Geico over the past month and have been found not at fault for the accident. Geico said it will take up to 9 months to reimburse us for the $500 we have to pay up front for repairs. Additionally, we will need to rent a car while our car is being repaired.

We're very lucky that nobody was injured beyond sore muscles, but the accident cost both of us a full day's wage. Due to us not feeling well physically or mentally the day after the accident.

Our car can no longer be driven with full functionality, and we have to fix/ replace the front bumper, right mirror, right headlight, right front wheel well, hood, AC condenser, windshield wiper reservoir, and the two right side doors.
