Tony Brown, owner of Ruins, was robbed last night. Someone broke a window in his home gained entry and stole a TON of musical equipment, creative tools, and much more.

Tony is very involved in community building efforts, and I think it’s only right we give back to him if we can. He is someone who is not only a dear friend to me, but is also integral in the outreach work that I do (if you know me). To others that know Tony, you know that he would give you anything he was able, if he knew it would help you. I did not want to use the shirt off his back saying.

He is already dealing with the stress of relocating his restaurant, now doesn’t have his typical creative outlets to mitigate said stress, and now likely feels violated and uncomfortable in his own home.

I hope to raise this amount for him to replace all his gear, and potentially bring opportunity for him to move into a new home- if he feels that desire.

He doesn’t know I set this up, but he’s about to. I’ll ask forgiveness later. Thanks everyone, love you all
