When systems, landlords, and the people we give our money to in exchange to live… fail us and extract from us, it is an OPPORTUNITY - for each of us to come together with what we have (time, money, talents) and create the safety nets we want to see in this world. To be the support networks we wanted and needed when we NEEDED, to leave a job/relationship — any sort of security, and couldn’t.

Right now is one of those times. Our friend, community leader, artist, mother - BEING, who needs to eat and sleep and be protected during a time of intense transition, needs our help.

No they are not okay. They are CURRENTLY ‘safe’ — and need our support to get okay and stay safe.

How to help:

-Donate $$$$$$$$$

-Donate infant items (6-9 months)

-(4 the homies) Come to Mexico, to pack/clean/move/be moral support

-Donate moving supplies/cleaning supplies

-Invite and host her and baby in San Diego

A community goal of $3,000 would cover:

-$2400 to secure housing

-$500 to cover legal/medical/therapeutic fees

-$100 to help cover the costs of displacement
