In Loving Memory of Tomicka Collins
On Friday, March 21st, my twin sister, Tomicka Collins—a devoted mother and dedicated support employee of Tulsa Public Schools—suffered a sudden medical emergency that led to cardiac arrest following a routine dental procedure. Despite the immediate and heroic actions of her 9-year-old son, and the unwavering support of her 21-year-old daughter, Tomicka tragically passed away on April 6th, 2025.
Our hearts are broken as we process this devastating loss. Tomicka was a kind, vibrant soul who loved her children deeply and brought joy to everyone who knew her. She fought hard during her time in the hospital, and we are grateful for the love, prayers, and support we received during those difficult weeks.
We are now shifting our focus to honoring Tomicka’s memory and ensuring the well-being of her 9-year-old son, who is now without both of his parents. He has shown incredible strength and bravery, but he faces a long road ahead. Funds raised will go toward funeral expenses and securing a stable and loving future for him.
