Grateful for Your Support – Here’s the Latest
Hi everyone,
I wanted to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for your generous donations, kind words, and support. Your encouragement has meant the world to us during this time.
Donations were used for his medical bills and prescription medication.
Dad was readmitted to the hospital this past week, on Monday, for a couple days to undergo some more tests. His oncology appointment was pushed off to July 10th. We are anxious to get to that appointment to learn what his treatment plan will be.
There is still a journey ahead, but because of you, we’re moving forward with more hope and strength than before. Please continue to share our story if you can—it truly helps more than you know.
With love and appreciation,
Jen
Help my Dad, Todd Moore Fight Lymphoma
On June 30th, our beloved dad, husband, grandfather, son, and friend — Todd Moore — received a life-changing diagnosis: Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma (DLBCL), a form of Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.
Todd first became ill in late April with persistent fevers, thinking it was just a bug. But as symptoms worsened, he sought medical help and discovered his spleen was dangerously enlarged — the size of a football — and infected. Emergency surgery was needed to remove it, along with the placement of a pancreatic drain to manage a secondary infection. He spent a total of 24 days in the hospital and is currently at home resting.
The real shock came when tests revealed DLBCL, and further pathology showed the cancer had spread to 7 out of 20 lymph nodes.
Todd now faces another uphill battle, this time against cancer. His next steps include a PET scan and an oncology consult on July 1st, where he will find out the stage of his cancer and begin chemotherapy. Unfortunately, he must first recover from the recent surgery before moving forward with treatment.
Many of you may remember Todd's battle back in 2018 when he bravely fought NASH (nonalcoholic steatohepatitis) and underwent a life-saving liver transplant. Since then, he’s lived a healthy, full life — until this unexpected setback.
Todd is a true friend with a kind heart and a fighting spirit. Now, he needs our help.
How You Can Help:
This fundraiser will help cover:
Medical bills and cancer treatment costs
Living expenses during recovery
Caregiving support (his wife, Trish, has been balancing work and caregiving, with support from her amazing boss)
Any donation, big or small, makes a difference. If you’re unable to give, please consider sharing this page with others. Your generosity and love will ease the financial burden and help Todd focus on what truly matters: healing.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support, prayers, and kindness.
