Support Toby's Recovery Journey and Family Needs

Hello to our fierce community of friends and family. This is my dear cousin, Toby (Burgess). He is currently in ICU at Lowell General Hospital after experiencing sepsis following a procedure to help with his diverticulitis condition. We almost lost him on Saturday evening into Sunday when his organs were shutting down. It was made very clear to Toby and Lauren that his chances to come out of this were slim.

Toby is a beautiful family man. He and his loving and supportive wife, Lauren, have 4 amazing children - Rylee, 14, Layla, 6, Mavrik, 3, and Malory, 17 months.

Lauren has recently taken on a new position and is driving over 100 miles a day to get her kiddos situated and get to work on time. Of course, she is also trying to be with Toby as much as possible. Fortunately, she has help from her parents for the two little ones during the day.

Toby is going to be out of work for some time as he works through this major life setback, getting healthy and healing.

This beautiful family could use some financial help for the major insurance deductibles and to help keep them afloat until Toby can get back to work.

Let's rally as family and friends to show our love and support for this beautiful family and pray for Toby to fully recover from this.

I was with Toby today in the hospital and have never seen him so vulnerable and so emotional. He has an incredible zest for life and an amazing and positive will to live a healthy, long life for his wife and kiddos.

Any amount will add up to help support them. I want to do everything I can in my power to be sure they don't suffer financially from something so outside of their control.
