Support Toby and Sam's Journey to Stability

My name is Hannah and I am posting this for my best friend Toby, his husband, Sam and their fur baby Jack.

They have been through a hardship the last year having to move across the country back to New York after having to leave a different state due to not having steady income and dealing with the after math of a failed court case. As of now, they have been struggling financially in their day to day for a multitude of reasons. Sams job at the moment is barely keeping them afloat. Some days, they have had to choose between paying for the hotel they are living in over food, nicotene, cat supplies, and other home necessities. In recent days, they have had to beg and plead with anyone to help them. Though they are trying their hardest to have steady income, something always happens where they don’t know if they will be homeless the next day or not. It’s not paycheck to paycheck, which it would typically be. It’s day to day. They have been asking for help, but they are running low on resources to help. And with the winter weather, Sam has been getting sick more and more often, which is making it so he can't work as much, only pushing them back further.

Knowing they are as close to me as blood family, they don't want to be in survival mode anymore. They want to be able to go out, do things, the last “date” they went on was going to the dollar tree to get groceries the one time they had extra money, and that was around Christmas time. I try to help them the best I can. They appreciate everything everyone has done for them and continues doing for them.
