OUR STORY
Frieda Sybille Clissold, a precious life lost too soon, was born still on August 12, 2024, at 40+2 weeks gestation. Despite being a healthy 3.27 kg and 53cm long, her life was tragically cut short due to suspected medical negligence. Her mother, 40 years old at the time, was aware of the risks of stillbirth, and stated the movement pattern changed, but unfortunately, her concerns were not adequately addressed by medical professionals.

The events leading up to Frieda's passing are a stark reminder of the importance of proactive care and communication in healthcare. Initially, medical professionals recommended a 39-week delivery, but no concrete plans were made. It wasn't until Stephen, Frieda's father, attended a 39+3 week appointment and demanded action that an induction of labor was finally scheduled for 40 weeks. However, due to high demand, the hospital was unable to accommodate this request until 40+4 weeks, by which time it was too late.

The devastating loss of Frieda has left her parents with a lifetime of questions and a determination to seek justice. In a meeting with a doctor two weeks after the incident, they were met with a dismissive attitude, being told that they had simply had bad luck. The doctor's admission that medical professionals often withhold information about stillbirth risks from expectant mothers, assuming they would become anxious, is a disturbing revelation. Furthermore, the doctor's assertion that doctors are not required to consult with mothers about assumed risks is a concerning lack of accountability.

Frieda's story serves as a poignant reminder of the need for transparency, communication, and accountability in healthcare. Her parents will continue to fight for answers and justice, ensuring that their daughter's memory is not forgotten and that others may be spared from similar tragedies.

OUR PURPOSE
In the face of unimaginable loss, we are committed to continuing Frieda's legacy by living a better life and supporting the living. However, we cannot do this alone. We seek financial support, to continue our personal life and operations while we fight for justice and accountability in the following areas:

Women's discrimination: We will continue to advocate for women's rights, ensuring that their voices are heard and their concerns are taken seriously in the healthcare system.
Medical negligence: We will fight tirelessly to hold medical professionals accountable for their actions, pushing for greater transparency and communication in healthcare.
Creating a better Australian society: We believe that every individual deserves access to quality healthcare and a fair chance at life. We will work towards creating a society that values and respects the lives of all individuals.

SUPPORTING US

Ultimately, any support, will always end up in the hands of our personal life, and to help us maintain our work of building a business.

The family will return to Franziskas home country Germany, while also trying to run the small business, Craftsman Hardware, and in the meantime, it has been difficult for the family to operate the business and have been struggling to perform, and have asked family to help. But with the support of them, they financially struggle while Stephen and Franziska fight for information for Frieda and try to maintain even a small, portion of our life together, while we try to build a family, while also fighting, for Frieda.

Since Franziska, may also never be able to return to work fully, to seek medical help and advice in the future, to be able to even remotely have the opportunity to have another daughter, things will be tough. And we seek support, from anybody who possibly can, to help us.

Your financial support will enable us to continue our fight for knowledge and create a better future for all. Together, we can make a difference and ensure that Frieda's memory lives on.
