If you’ve ever loved a dog, you know they’re never “just a pet.” They are family. They’re the ones who are always there to greet you on your best and worst days, make you laugh, and love you unconditionally.

Our sweet & spicy 5-year-old Chihuahua, Tino (aka T, Tini, beano, sweet T, Mr. Man, Valentino, the list goes on..) has been exactly that for us. He’s the happiest little boy with the biggest personality.

You can count on him to always greet you at the door with a ‘baby’ and will wiggle his butt out of control for the next 30+ minutes because he can’t quite contain his excitement to see you. He loves to hold hands and go for a ride in the car to ‘Dunkies’. He loves to watch tv & FaceTime his Gram. He loves to snuggle & play with his sister, Pippa. He loves his guinea pig brothers & gives them a gentle kiss on their noses. He gets excited over practically everything. He loves life. He has brought so much love and joy into our lives and makes us appreciate the little things. We truly cannot imagine our lives without him and the light he brings us.

Our world was just turned upside down when Tino was diagnosed with a brain tumor after experiencing seizures.

After meeting with his neurologist, we know that radiation therapy offers the best opportunity to slow, shrink or stop the tumor’s progression and give us more time together.

We don’t know how long the tumor has been there or if it’s slow growing, or aggressive. Time is of the essence in ensuring his best outcome.

Unfortunately, this life-saving treatment comes with an overwhelming cost that is beyond what we can manage on our own. As people who never ask for help, this is incredibly hard for us to do. But this is not just for us, it’s for Tino.

We’re asking for help to cover the cost of Tino’s radiation treatments and the many medical expenses that come with fighting this diagnosis.
