Hello my name is Melina and I am Timmy’s mom. My son Timmy is a 9yrs old and is in 3rd grade. Timmy is a student at Stone Bank Elementary in the AHS district, in WI. Stone Bank is a 4k-8 elementary school. After 8th grade they will than spend another 4yrs together at Arrowhead High School. He is a student who is integrated in the regular classroom and has Down syndrome !!!We are doing a fundraiser to help raise money for Inclusive playsets for ALL kids at schools and for their community.

Plz share this and help by getting involved. TMJ 4 News is doing a clip tomorrow at 6am. Plz be a part of this and help make inclusive play for all kids. Make this go nation wide so we can keep going and make this go across the USA in all communities. It starts with one person trying to make a difference and ends up with lots of people making a lot of difference!!! Let’s make this happen.. Plz give to companies and see if they will help too. It’s a great way to give back to the future generations.

How the funds are distributed and what playset is being used:

The funds will be given by Timmy’s 3rd grade class and any other kid who wants to be part of this at the school board meeting once the funds are raised. 3 playsets will be shown to all the kids in the school. Each class will vote on what playset they want. After the majority pick we will present everything to the school board to get it going. This is all about the kids and teaching our kids to embrace inclusion..

Hi, my name is Timmy and I am 9 years old. I have Down Syndrome, which means I want to be just like you, but I learn at a different speed than you. I love sports and going to games. I enjoy playing with my friends at school during recess and after school.

October is Down Syndrome Awareness Month!!!!!

I am doing a fundraiser so my friends at school can play with me on playground equipment that is designed for Special needs kids and kids with out needs. Right now all we have is one red ADA swing that has a broken safety latch. I love playing at recess but, some of the regular equipment is to hard because of my Down Syndrome Please donate to our fundraiser so we all can play together at school with equipment that ALL kids can use. These funds will buy Inclusion playground equipment…
