Support Tiffany's Move to Access Vital Resources

My name is Tiffany Russell, Many Know me as Sistatiph from TikTok and I have been contemplating creating a GoFundMe campaign for quite some time due to various reasons. I have been striving to independently relocate my family, but I have encountered numerous obstacles along the way. I am unsure of what God Has in store for me because I have hit a lot of Road Blocks.

I have felt like I was making progress, only to be met with roadblocks at every turn. These challenges have led me to this last resort of seeking assistance from others. While I am typically the one offering help, I now find myself in need of support.

Allow me to provide some insight into my current circumstances before explaining why I am reaching out for help. I am a mother of five children, three of whom have Autism/ADHD and are under my care full-time. Living in Montgomery, Alabama, I have found limited resources and a lack of support for my children with special needs.

Since 2022, I have been engaged in a battle with the school district to secure appropriate education for my 7-year-old son, who still struggles to read basic books. In February, my 4-year-old daughter was mistreated by her ABA therapist, prompting me to involve the authorities. Unfortunately, this led to the facility turning their back on us, leaving us without the support we desperately need.

Despite my efforts to seek assistance from various organizations, including ADAP of Alabama, I have been met with silence. I am currently on my second attorney for my son's Individualized Education Program (IEP) and am emotionally drained from the ongoing struggles.

Despite my financial challenges, I do not qualify for housing or food stamps due to exceeding income guidelines. Each month, I face difficulties in paying bills and providing for my family. I have applied for disability benefits for my children and have sought legal representation to navigate this complex process.

At present, I am unable to work outside of my home as I lack adequate support for my children. Two years ago, I took a stand against domestic violence, resulting in my abuser fleeing the state and failing to provide.

I am in need of relocating closer to my family, including my mom, aunt, and cousins, in order to receive their support. Income guidelines vary from state to state, making it necessary for me to move to a location where I can access the resources I need.

I am seeking assistance in raising enough funds to cover the costs associated with my move. I am committed to being transparent with how every donation is utilized. Due to physical limitations, I require help with packing and plan to sell items to reduce the amount of belongings I need to transport. Additionally, I will need to ship my furniture, cover gas expenses, utilities, and food until I can secure public assistance.

The city that offers the closest support system to me is Atlanta, Georgia, where my family and childhood friends reside. Moving there will allow me to be closer to my teenagers and access advocacy programs and resources tailored to single mothers like myself.

In order to work full-time at night, I will have my cousin care for my children in the evenings due to their sleep disturbances. I understand that my goal may seem ambitious to some, but my priority is to avoid homelessness for my family. I am committed to paying it forward and creating a better future for us.

My children have specific needs that require specialized instruction, trauma therapy, and an Individualized Education Program (IEP). I am also struggling to obtain a special needs wagon for their safety. Despite these challenges, I continue to share resources and support others through my TikTok platform.
