As many of you may know, Tiffany’s health has been declining rapidly over the past year, and her journey has been nothing short of overwhelming.

In March 2025, Tiffany’s kidney transplant had to be removed after it caused her to become septic. Shortly after, she developed pneumonia. During follow-up scans, doctors discovered nodules surrounding her thyroid. In July, Tiffany was diagnosed with papillary thyroid cancer. In August, she underwent surgery to remove her thyroid and several lymph nodes.

After a long recovery, Tiffany tried to return to work, but doing so caused her to become extremely ill both during her shifts and once she got home. Around the same time, she received devastating news — the cancer had returned. It later became clear that the cancer had metastasized and spread to her lungs.

Since September, Tiffany has endured multiple hospitalizations and blood transfusions. On January 2nd, she required placement of a cardiac catheter due to declining heart function. Because of this, combined with fluid buildup related to kidney failure, Tiffany now requires supplemental oxygen to breathe comfortably.

On January 5th, Tiffany underwent another major surgery where doctors removed as much cancer as possible — a total of 23 nodules. The remaining cancer will be treated with radiation, which is scheduled to begin soon. On January 13th, she was life-flighted to Boston after severe neck swelling compromised her ability to breathe.

Once radiation is complete, Tiffany will face additional treatment for the cancer in her lungs and will also need to pursue another kidney transplant.

As you can imagine, the financial burden has become overwhelming. Medical bills continue to pile up, and Tiffany’s FMLA and donated vacation time have been fully exhausted. She has now been forced to step away from work while continuing to fight for her life.

Tiffany has been sick for more than half of her life. She has faced every challenge with strength, resilience, and grace — but she deserves a break. Any donation, no matter the size, would help ease the financial stress and allow Tiffany to focus on what matters most: healing.
