Ana was detained on Friday, December 12th while walking to her car with her teenage son in the parking lot of her own apartment complex. She was surrounded by masked men in two cars who took her away, leaving her youngest son behind scared and worried.

Ana's son returned to his older siblings distraught. It took them days to locate Ana, who is currently in ICE detention in Louisiana. Ana's three children range from 16 to 20 years old, and they're now figuring out how to care for each other, pay for their basic needs, attend to their dogs, and navigate getting legal support for their mother without their primary source of income and support.

El hijo de Ana regresó angustiado con sus hermanos mayores. Les llevó días localizar a Ana, que actualmente se encuentra detenida por el ICE en Luisiana.
