Support Three Siblings affected by detention

We wanted to update this information: M's Brothers who witnessed this are age 19 & 17. We wanted to clarify that as misinformation is being spread.

A fund to support a small family of three siblings whose father was detained and need support to make ends meet. Funds will provide aid in getting basic amenities and bills paid whilst the three siblings figure out their situation. Their father’s case is undetermined and they need as much support as they can.

Sunday May 4th in OX, a father was detained in front of his two sons, a 17-year-old about to graduate high school and 19-year-old at a local gas station. Their older sibling, M, is able to support them with housing and is working on moving back in with them. However, their parent left behind bills and rent that need to be paid. Overnight, M has had to take on responsibility for her two younger siblings and provide for them in addition to navigating the ICE detention process. It has been a difficult time for M.

This situation has been traumatic for all the family members involved, especially for the boys who had to witness their father be taken infront of them.

M is a local beloved community member and a close friend of ours and we will work to help out their family as much as we can during this time period.

We will slowly disperse funds directly to M as donations are made to support the bills their parent left behind. The family does not know how

long this process will take, so all funds will be pooled to make it last for bills, groceries, rent & more.
