This is Thomas and his dog Jezebel.
For the past 8 my months I have seen this man every morning and almost every evening in the area on East Palmdale off of Palmdale Blvd and 15th st east. A lot of people in the area know him and his dog. Thomas and his dog are well looked out for. They're currently homeless and while I don't know their story, I know he is a good and calm man who loves his dog more than anything. On 01/08 he was coming into the carwash in the area where he's allowed to rest we noticed his dog was gone and he was red and puffy. We asked him what happened and that's when the anger and sadness hit us trying to figure out what is wrong with people. (January 8th, 2026) at 10:52 am while he rested with his dog, two cars pulled up and he was attacked. They didn't ask him about the dog, they didn't talk to him about the dog, or even check the dog. They claimed this was their 8 month old dog Luna, who got out of their yard and was missing. They refused to listen to Thomas while they beat him and he pleaded and repeatedly told them he's had this dog for 8 years, born and raised. THIS WAS NOT THEIR DOG. They claimed she was chipped and took her, he begged to have her scanned so they could see it wasn't their dog and they didn't care. This happened the morning of 01/08 in the parking lot outside the MCDONALDS on Palmdale blvd and 17th St East. These people were said to be in a WHITE VOLKSWAGEN, JETTA, and
WHITE INFINITY with a BLACK BUMPER with a Hispanic couple in it, these were the same people who attacked him while the other car just stood by. Thanks to a witness it is now known that there were 4-5people in total. 1 female dressed in brown that recorded them doing this to Thomas. The dog was in distress and tried to get away from them, but they took her anyway. This man never asks for anything and now all he's asking for is for help to get his dog back. In his cart sat her food, her blankets, and her stuff all while he sat there by himself wrapped in a blanket. There was a police report made and they said they couldn't get plates off of the McDonald's cameras, but if anyone near that area might have outside cameras, any information, or see anyone with this dog please let me know or notify the cops.
