Hi, my name is Anette, let me introduce this lovely Nicaraguan family, who run the long stay hostel I’ve been staying in, where they currently live and work. Now they would like to take next step in life and build their own house to have stability and security for themselves and their two children.

Yorlenyn, the mother of the family is an amazing woman, who works very hard to provide for her family which she raises with love. I can’t even count the number of evenings I’ve found her in the shared kitchen spending time with her children sharing meals and doing homework. Leaving the word to her:

Hello, my name is Yorlenyn Moreno, and this is my family: my husband, Moises Calero, and my two beautiful children, whom God has blessed us with: my 16-year-old daughter, Nayaris, and my 8-year-old son, Samuel. My husband and I have been married for 18 years, and since we met, we have worked hard to raise our children like any other family.

For about eight years now, my husband has been having severe knee problems, making it very difficult for him to work every day. There is always the fear of losing your job when you are ill and know that no one will give you another opportunity. As a family member, wife, mother, friend, and companion, I feel sad that I cannot offer enough to my husband. He continually suffers from knee pain, and even his arms and elbows are affected by a condition that attacks him seasonally and lasts for many days. This is in addition to his diagnosed diabetes. As a result of all this pain, he spends days without walking due to the pain and inflammation. And when he gets up, he walks with the help of crutches.

Our two children are happy, and we always teach them the best values. Our son likes to play ball and draw. He finished his second year of primary school with effort and love, and he will go to third year next year. Likewise, my 16-year-old daughter, the eldest, has finished and passed her fourth year of secondary school, so next year she will go to fifth year. She likes to draw and share moments with the family. I am always advising them to keep going and strive to study and get ahead.

We currently have nowhere to live, which is very sad for us. That is why we are asking for your help to build a house, a home, on a piece of land that we have managed to acquire with great effort over the years. After years of depending on the hospitality of others, we would like to build our own home. As a family, realising our dream of owning our own home would make us very happy, as we would have a safe and stable home for our children, a place to live, play and laugh. It would be a great blessing in our lives, allowing us to be united as a family and giving me the opportunity to start my own business selling beans, firewood or ice. This way, I can support my husband in starting his business and working from home, and feel that the effort has been worthwhile and that there are kind angels who can help us achieve our dreams. Hola mi nombre es Yorlenyn Moreno, mi esposo Moises Calero y mis dos hermosos hijos que Dios me ha regalado: Mi hija de 16 años Nayaris y mi niño de 8 años Samuel. Yo y me esposo hemos estado casados desde hace 18 años y desde que nos hemos conocido nos hemos esforzado por trabajar y sacar adelante a nuestros hijos como toda familia.

Pero alrededor ya de 8 años mi esposo lleva enfermo padeciendo de las rodillas, para el es muy dificil llevar un trabajo día a día. Simpre existe el temor de carecer de empleo cuando uno esta enfermo y sabe que nadie te puede dar la oportunidad.

Como familia, esposa, madre, amiga y compañera, yo me siento tristes de no poder ofrecer lo suficiente para mi esposo, el continuamente padece de las rodillas, incluso los brazos codos es una enfermedad que lo ataca por temporadas, le dura por muchos dias. Y ademas de su diabetes diagnosticada. A consecuencia de todos estos dolores el pasa días sin caminar debido a los dolores e inflamación. Y cuando se levanta, camina con la ayuda de unas muletas.

Nuestros dos hijos, son felices, siempre enseñándoles los mejores valores, al niño le gusta jugar pelota, dibujar, terminó con esfuerzo y amor su segundo grado de primaria, irá a tercer grado de primaria el otro año que viene , igualmente mi hija de 16 años la mayor, a terminado y pasado su cuarto año de secundaria así que este año que viene irá a quinto año de secundaria , le gusta dibujar y compartir momentos en familia, siempre aconsejandolos para que sigan adelante y se esfuercen por estudiar y salir adelante.

Actualmente no temenos donde vivir y es triste para nosotros por eso pedimos de su ayuda para poder construir en un pedazo de tierra que con mucho esfuerzo hemos logrado adquirir a lo largo de estos años, después de años de depender de la hospitalidad de otras personas, nos gustaría construir nuestra propia casa. Como familia, hacer realidad nuestro sueño de tener una casa propia sería lo más feliz, ya que tendríamos un hogar dingo y seguro y estable para nuestros hijos, un lugar para vivir, jugar y reír. Sería una gran bendición en nuestras vidas, permitiéndonos estar unidos como familia y dándome la oportunidad de emprender en mi propio negocio de venta de frijoles, leña o hielo. Así, puedo apoyar a mi esposo para que inicie su negocio y trabaje desde casa, y sentir que el esfuerzo ha valido la pena y que hay ángeles bondadosos que pueden ayudarnos a alcanzar nuestros sueños.
