Hello everyone, my family ended up with waist high (3-4ft) water in our basement today due to all the rain! This left us with damages costing thousands of dollars. All the drains in our backyard were backed up, causing the door to our basement to completely bust open off the wall. I have two other siblings that had bedrooms in the basement along with me. My dad’s office was also in the basement and was completely destroyed with everything in it! We lost all our beds, carpet, some clothes, electronics, washer and dryer, and many other belongings! Some memorabilia items that are irreplaceable were completely damaged as well. My dad has worked his butt off to provide for his family. He gutted and remodeled the entire house himself a few years ago and now he has to start all over. Any help would be very appreciated as we have lost pretty much everything in the basement! I am not looking for any pity from anyone, I simply just want to help my dad out!
