Greetings,
Thank you for all of your support thus far to fund our legal zoning fight against WR Grace!
An additional $4,000 is needed to finish the legal work on the Howard County Zoning Complaint initiated by Cedar Creek residents.
Join us for Pie and Chai By the Poolside at a private River Hill home on June 12th, from 6:30-8:30 pm. to close the gap. Deb Jung, District 4 County Council Member, will also be joining us for this event.
In order to wrap up our legal hearings, the lawyer who is representing the community's interests must get the final Letter of Memorandum to the Hearing Examiner which encapsulates the community's arguments in regard to Howard County's Department of Planning and Zoning's (DPZ) improper handling and decision of the W.R. Grace's zoning status. We expect a decision from the Hearing Examiner in this case by mid-July or August.
A volunteer has stepped up to offer Pie & Chai By the Poolside to help close the financial gap. We are requiring a donation of $100 or more for you and a guest to attend. The event is capped at 40 donors ~ so we hope we get there!
This gathering will take place by the poolside of a River Hill Village home. The pie will be home-made blueberry with ice cream if you prefer. You are invited to relax by the pool and enjoy some Chai as well. Deb Jung, county council member will speak at 7:15 p.m. that evening.
Please follow these steps to get receive the Evite:
1. Email [email redacted] to let us know you'll be making a donation. Please provide your name and the amount you will donate.
2. The Go Fund Me link will be emailed to you.
3. Please make your donation. Once verified, you will receive the Evite invitation with details about the event.
Thank you for your support of this effort! Hope you can join us for some delicious blueberry pie and chai in early June!
Thank you,
Sara Morrell
