My name is Elise Regalado, and I'm a third-year Aerospace Engineering student at Georgia Tech. I'm partnering with the Georgia Tech chapter of Women of Aeronautics and Astronautics (WoAA) to raise funds to support a new scholarship using my next Ironman 70.3 triathlon (1.2 miles of open water swimming, 56 miles of biking, and 13.1 miles of running) as a fundraising platform.

This scholarship serves to empower women pursuing careers in Aerospace Engineering. As a woman in Aerospace Engineering myself, I've seen how powerful early exposure, representation, and mentorship can be, and how underrepresented women remain in this field. I am aiming for my upcoming triathlon to serve a purpose beyond the finish line by raising funds to help more women and girls explore aerospace and see themselves in STEM careers.
