Help Our Family Through This Crisis

Hi, my name is Alphonso Willis, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my family—my wife Shandrea Willis, our two beautiful children, and myself. We’re a family of four doing everything we can to make it through a very difficult time.

Until recently, I was the primary provider for our family, driving for Lyft to support our household. Unfortunately, in December 2024, our vehicle’s engine failed due to a jump in timing. The damage was severe, and the cost to repair it was more than the car was worth. This vehicle wasn’t just transportation—it was our main source of income.

Through the power of God, we’ve been able to maintain and push forward thus far. We believe He has carried us through this season, even when things have seemed impossible.

Since losing the vehicle, we’ve done everything in our power to stay afloat financially. But with our savings completely drained and no way to replace the car, we’ve hit a financial wall.

We have two children at home—one who is autistic and the other with an intellectual disability. Providing a safe, stable home for them is our number one priority. At this time, we are a month and a half behind on rent and need $3,150.00 to avoid eviction and get current. We’ve also received a disconnection notice for our electric bill of $580 (due by the 12th), and our water bill of $360 is due by the 16th.

We understand that many people are going through financial struggles right now. If you're unable to give, we completely understand—your prayers, encouragement, and sharing our story also mean a great deal to us.

Our total need is $4,500 to cover rent and utilities and stabilize our home. Any donation, no matter how small, would be a blessing and help carry us through this hard time.
