Support the Wang Xi’an Chen Tai Chi USA Teaching Tour
Next month, I’ll be returning to Sonoma, California to begin teaching tai chi through an established martial arts school. This marks an important step in bringing the original Chen family tai chi, passed down through Grandmaster Wang Xi’an, to more people in the U.S. in a consistent, grounded, in-person way.
This teaching tour is about more than classes.
It’s about preserving a traditional system that has helped generations cultivate resilience, restore health, and age with strength at a time when many people are dealing with chronic pain, stress, and disconnection from their bodies.
Building these programs takes time. Before classes can fully support themselves, there are unavoidable costs: travel, lodging, space rental, and outreach. This fundraiser helps bridge that gap so the teaching can begin—and continue without being rushed, diluted, or compromised.
Your support doesn’t just help me travel.
It helps keep this work accessible, in-person, and rooted in its original principles.
How Your Support Helps
All donations directly support:
• Travel to and from teaching locations
• Lodging during teaching periods
• Venue and studio expenses
• Modest promotional costs to reach new students
About the Teaching
I’ve studied tai chi, qigong, meditation, and martial arts for over five decades, including extensive training in China under Grandmaster Wang Xi’an. I’m also a Doctor of Chiropractic with 35 years of clinical experience, which informs how I teach tai chi as a practical system for spinal health, longevity, and daily life, not just a form.
My goal is simple:
To help people move better, feel better, and develop a sustainable practice they can carry for life.
If this work has value to you or if you believe traditional healing arts deserve a place in the modern world, your support truly makes a difference.
Thank you for being part of it
