It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden and tragic passing of John Keith Villa, age 68.
John was a devoted husband to Tracy, a loving father to Eugene (46) and Amanda (38), a stepfather to Jamie (47), an adoptive father to Alexis (22) and Serena (12), a proud grandfather to 10 grandchildren, great-grandfather to 3, and a beloved brother, uncle, and friend. He was always there for others — dependable, kind, and generous — the person everyone could always count on.
John was deeply devoted to his family. He legally adopted two of his grandchildren and took great pride in providing a stable, loving home for the children in his care. His daughter Amanda and her three children lived with John and Tracy and were truly everything to him. Caring for his family, especially the children, gave his life purpose and joy.
After surviving necrotizing fasciitis and cancer in 2013, John was recently facing early signs of Alzheimer’s/Dementia, along with depression, and suddenly lost his life on January 25th.
Our family is devastated by this loss. Along with the emotional heartbreak, John’s wife is now facing sudden and overwhelming responsibilities, including:
• Cremation, funeral, and memorial expenses
• Loss of household income
• Immediate care and continued support for the children John was raising
• Housing-related expenses for the family home
• Legal, guardianship, and transitional costs
This fundraiser is meant to help preserve their stability, cover essential expenses, and give his wife and children the space to grieve without added financial pressure during this incredibly difficult time.
Any donation, no matter the amount, or even a simple share, means more than words can express. We are deeply grateful for the love, prayers, and support being shown to our family.
With sincere gratitude,
