I am starting this fundraiser on behalf of Eddie (Eduardo) and Brenna Vazquez, who were involved in a devastating car accident caused by a drunk driver who was driving the wrong way on the freeway. The collision was head-on, and the driver fled the scene on foot.

They both underwent numerous surgeries and sustained injuries that have left them immobilized for an extended period of time. Brenna will need additional surgery, and Eddie will be recovering in a wheelchair for months. Both will need physical and occupational therapy.

They also have an adorable smiley 1-year-old baby boy who needs constant care, and with both parents unable to work during their recovery time, they are preparing for an overwhelming amount of financial stress in the months ahead.
