I’m setting up this go fund me for my brother and his family to help get the word out for prayers and donations to help monetary needs from his grandchildren’s health issues and hospital stays/surgeries. I have copied what he put on Facebook.

For my Facebook family and friends - you may or may not have heard what's been going on with my two youngest grandchildren. Thankfully many of you had heard enough to begin a prayer chain that has reached all the way to Heaven and directly to God and he has heard and answered them with healing beyond our expectations. GOD IS ALIVE AND HE ANSWERS PRAYERS! Please keep up the praying.

For those of you that aren't aware, my 2 year old grandson suffered a severe brain injury along with damage to his kidneys and other abdominal organs. He was Aero-Med lifted to Helen Devos Children's Hospital in Grand Rapids. They immediately removed a 2 x 4 section of his skull to releive the swelling of his brain. He was then placed in a very strong sedated state to allow the swelling to shrink. When he was all settled in his room the Doctors and nurses, whom in my opinion are by far the best in the world, explained the proposed process of recovery. They explained that they would keep him in this state for a 1 to 2 week period, that the swelling could take that long to go down. Then they would begin a slow process of reducing the sedation to allow them to see what problems may surface which would take up to 2 weeks. And then he would begin a months long process of physical therapy to regain all of his bodily functions.

Meanwhile my 3 year old granddaughter was checked over at Ludington Hospital for some abnormal constipation issue and was also refered to the Helen Devos Children's Hospital. She went through a round of tests and xrays which resulted in a surgery for a colon biopsy to determine that she has Hirschsprungs disease, which has since come back positive. Today she had surgery to place a colostomy bag on her colon to allow her colon to shrink back to normal size. Then in a few months when that has happened, she will go back for a third surgery to remove the section with the issues, which will result in a much better functioning little girl. Again proof that prayers are heard and a resolution for healing has been answered. We thank God for hearing and answering all of the prayers placed on behalf of these two wonderful grandchildren of mine!

All the while that I was at the hospital tending to these 2 grandchildren with my daughter, Carla was at home taking care of the other grandchildren and supporting all if us by communicating with friends and family which resulted in this enormous prayer chain to Heaven. Thank you my dear wife!!

Now back to my 2 year old grandson...this is what took place over the next 5 days. These events seemingly point straight to the power of prayer. The first 2 days he was in the ICU he was just maintaining, he had some weak but normal responses to pain stimulation and the swelling of his brain seemed to go down and then increase on a sort of roller coaster path. Then as I started to hear and see on this social network platform that more and more people were praying I began to hear and see reports of minor improvements that just turned into waves of hope. As even more people were announcing that they had brought in their Churh congregations into an even larger pool of believers praying, we received good results from another Catscan, then great results from an esophageal chest xray, to today when he had an MRI that indicated it is already time to start the sedation reduction process to bring him back to a limited state of consciousness with a plan to remove his intibation tomorrow to let him begin to breath on his own. He still has a long road to full recovery but at this point it appears that he hasn't been dealt something that he and God together can't overcome, with the support of all of those that have been praying!

I have heard of and seen prayer answered before but I have never seen such a ratio of results being so closely based on quantity of prayers being prayed.
