A New Sign for West 86th — Supporting Our Historic District
We’re excited to share that a new Traders Point Rural Historic District sign has been installed in the median on W. 86th Street, just west of the I-465 South exit. This is one of 15 custom-designed signs placed throughout Marion and Boone Counties to mark our unique rural historic area.
We extend our sincere thanks to the Eagle Creek Nature Conservancy D.B.A. Greater Historic Traders Point, whose efforts made this possible. Their ongoing work preserves the character and heritage of our community—and this distinctive sign adds real visual and historic value to our neighborhood.
We’ve created this GoFundMe to support the Conservancy’s mission. Donations are completely voluntary and 100% tax-deductible, as the Conservancy is a registered tax-exempt nonprofit.
If you love the new sign and what it represents, please consider contributing. Every gift, large or small, makes a difference!
