Tovami Yoga is a classic yoga studio overlooking the harbor in Mamaroneck, NY. We provide a space for community, yoga, laughter, and growth for all ages. It has been a space where like minded people can come together to share their lives and gain a better sense of self and peace.
Prior to Covid19 we offered over 40 classes per week ranging from various levels of vinyasa flow, to Kripalu, Katonah, ISHTA, Yin, Kid's, Gentle and more. We have had yoga on the beach each year and offer large free community yoga gatherings in the parks around Westchester. We have some of the best teachers in the area and have had some wonderful workshop offerings. Additionally our teacher trainings are robust and varied.
In 5 short years, we have become a strong community with hundreds of people visiting our location weekly. Tovami has been a place for people to connect, create friendships, and stay health both physically and mentally. We have a heart beat, a mission and a lot of breath in our little space. It is a sanctuary for all who come.
On March 15th, we offered our first virtual class and shut our doors that night. March 16th it was mandated. Since then, without skipping a day we have continued to provide online classes and have even created an online TV channel so that people can take classes at their own convenience!
We are so grateful to our loyal students for supporting Tovami Yoga thus far, and we celebrate all of you who have embraced the online classes. However, to keep our community and yoga studio intact through this crisis we are in need of more support. If you are able and willing to donate, it would truly be appreciated.
What the funds will help us do:
- Pay rent, utilities, insurance and operating costs.
- Pay our amazing staff of teachers
