It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Jocelyn Nicole Thomas, a beloved partner, mother, daughter, and friend, whose life was taken far too soon due to complications from sarcoidosis, a debilitating autoimmune disease.
Jocelyn leaves behind her loving husband Troy, and their beautiful children, Troy II and Zhia. She is now reunited in glory with their eldest son, T.J., who welcomed her home. Jocelyn was the heart of their home — a guiding light, a fierce protector, and a constant source of love and laughter.
Sarcoidosis is a complex autoimmune disease that causes inflammation and the growth of tiny collections of inflammatory cells (granulomas) in different parts of the body — most commonly the lungs, skin, and lymph nodes. It can be unpredictable and relentless, affecting every part of daily life. Jocelyn battled bravely, showing immense strength even in the face of chronic pain, fatigue, and the many complications that came with her diagnosis.
As her family grieves this unimaginable loss, we are coming together.
Jocelyn’s memory lives on in the love she poured into her family and the joy she brought to those who knew her.
With gratitude,
The Thomas Family
