Help Provide relief for the Therrian’s
On September 26th, Hurricane Helene moved inland, dumping close to three feet of rain on the mountains of western NC in a single day. This caused rivers to rise well above their normal levels, devastating small, rural mountain towns and the city of Asheville. These communities have been cut off from the world. They have no power, water, cell service, and most of the main highways in and out of the area have collapsed due to flooding or landslides.
My nephew Blake, his beautiful wife Hannah and their two children have been heavily impacted by the aftermath of the hurricane. Thankfully support crews and aid are arriving to assist, but they are still in need of so many incidentals that they just cannot afford to get right now.
While my nephew and his family are resilient, they are struggling to not only provide food and water for their family, they are now going to face the fact that both he and his wife could be out of work for weeks to come. This, too, will cause a hardship as they just recently made the move back to the Asheville area.
Please consider donating to help the Therrians get back on their feet after this devasting loss.
