my name is Andrea, I live in Boston and as former LA/Brentwood resident I have many friend and family who have been impacted by the LA wildfires.

I am very close friend of the Terruzzin family, who has spent their lives embodying resilience, compassion, and a commitment to creating a better world. Marco, Laetitia, little Leonardo (4 years old), and Francesca (just 14 months old) have been a beacon of hope and determination, but today, they face a devastating chapter in their journey. The Palisades fire has stripped them of their home and everything they cherished—but not their unyielding spirit.

Marco has dedicated his professional life to combating climate change, tirelessly working across Europe, China, and California to protect the environment for future generations. His efforts have touched countless lives, advocating for sustainable practices and championing the fight against the climate crisis. But in a cruel twist of fate, the very issue Marco has devoted himself to addressing has now profoundly affected his own family.

The Palisades fire left the Terruzzins with nothing but the clothes on their backs, forcing them to confront an uncertain future.
