Hi everyone!
We have been given the incredible honor and blessing of growing our family through adoption again! Since this is our second time going through this process, we've come to deeply appreciate the truth that it takes a village to raise a child. In adoption, we believe that the village plays an even greater role, supporting both the child and their family. While adoption is a beautiful blessing and as we believe, demonstrates God's love for us, it is also incredibly challenging and starts from a place of brokenness. As we are being given one of the greatest gifts, a beautiful mother is having to make the incredibly tough decision to provide a different life for her child. That child is and will face trying to understand why this was the path laid out for them.
So we are coming here to ask our village for help. This can be done in a couple different ways.
- The first way to support us is through prayers, thoughts, encouragement, and good vibes. Please pray firstly for the expectant mother. Pray that through this process and beyond that she feels loved, valued, worthy, and enough. Pray for her heart as she navigates this journey. Pray for physical health and healing. Pray for the Taylor family as we prepare to welcome another child into our family. Pray for our hearts for whatever the Lord has planned for us. Pray for this child. Pray that they will always feel loved, valued, worthy, and enough.
- The second way to support us is financially. Adoption is costly in America and we could use your help in bringing our child home. We've been saving to meet this goal, but have not quite made it to the amount we need. If you feel led to donate to our GoFundMe, any bit helps. We have also created a T-shirt fundraiser that illustrates your role in this process (https://bonfire.com/support-the-taylors-adoption-journey). "We are the village." We'd love if you purchase a t-shirt, wear it to support us, and share the link with your friends.
We would be honored if you would consider partnering with us in this journey and being a part of our village. We love you and can't thank you enough!
Love, Josh and Tori
"I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds." - Psalm 9:1
