This is the Taylor family, Rusty and Vicky, (Mom and Dad), 3 children, and two foster children Rusty was hit by a pickup truck in April of 2015. That changed his and his family’s life. After Serveral surgeries, Through the power of Jesus Christ, and LONG years of recovery, He could finally go back to work. Rusty was on a cain full time for serval years after the accident, and still needs some surgeries. Ever since the tragic accident, he couldn't afford taking off of work. so he goes to work, knowing he will come home in so much pain! Just to provide for his family.
In 2018, while Rusty was still recovering, They had to take in 2 children, though they didn't know how they were going to make it with 2 extra kids but they trusted Gods plan!Vicky's mother had ALS and passed away in 2010 at the age of 47 Vicky started to have trouble doing every day things. Though she was so scared, she went and got tested. She was diagnosed with ALS in June of 2024. She was scared, hurt, and didn't know what to do. The doctors introduced her, to a treatment that would slow down the process of her losing all control of her body.
They told her she would have to take this treatment in her spine every 28 days for the
rest of her life. The treatment cost is
$17,000 every time she has to get the treatment.. after long awaited Prayers, Jesus provided, and her insurance covers a lot of it, but definitely not all covered! Rusty has been a store manager at big lots for many years, Today December 19th,
2024 they got a call, saying all Big Lots will start closing by December 20th. therefore, Vicky will loose her Insurance that covers her treatment,
and they will have no income until Rusty finds some work that can be flexible with his ability to work, considering his wreck that has caused a lifetime of pain and ability to do work related things. This a little bit of their story!
I pray this families story will touch some people, maybe to give some money, share their story, or even just a prayer! If you feel called to give, they would be more than appreciative. Jesus is good, and He always provides, even when we are in the valleys
