My name is Guillermo Martinez-Juarez, and it was my dream to own and operate a food trailer/restaurant. I spent the last 15 years working in various restaurants until I opened Taqueria Martinez at the end of 2023. Since then, I have been working hard to earn income to help support my wife and four children. (Natalia (9), Noah (6), Nayeli (4); and Nyla (1). My wife Melissa, has a mobility disability and is unable to work.

Due to unknown circumstances, our food trailer burned beyond repair on Father’s Day 2026.

In addition, our family minivan was also damaged by the fire and is not considered safe to drive. We are working with our insurance company to have it repaired.

At this time, we are asking for help to support our family with daily expenses, monthly bills, and to help repair our minivan.

Without our primary source of income we are relying on donations to help support the needs of our family. I am unsure how long it will be before we are able to reopen Taqueria Martinez.
