Hi there! Thanks for taking a look at this fundraiser...as SO MANY of you have since we began this incredible event in 2017.
I will be fleshing this description out over the next weeks and months with lists of who is coming to play - last year over 120 musicians from all over the world - and how many local Stowe venues will be with us again...not to mention activities, sponsor lists, photos and this year, perhaps some soundbytes from last year's incredible events...
But this short description tells it all - and why we do this...
JOY. Our 'product' is JOY. These days we - all of us - need more Joy...more community, more understanding and tolerance...and less division...MUSIC is the 'glue' that brings diverse audiences together - families, folks with little income, opposite political opinions...all the negative stuff disappears through the shared enjoyment of MUSIC...
Music brings us together...and we believe (obviously!) that the incredible efforts we expend as the folks that bring SJF to you...are worth it.
And THAT is why we need you to help us raise the money to keep making it happen each year...
We are a 501c(3) non profit as well you know...and this gofundme drive helps us raise a good chunk of our expenses. It all goes to make this festival one of the now finest in the country and famous world-wide.
