On Saturday evening, September 19, a four-alarm fire tore through Juliette, our French bistro on North Fifth Street in Williamsburg. Thankfully, no one on our staff was hurt, and we're deeply grateful to the FDNY and EMS crews who fought the blaze for hours to bring it under control.

For 20 years, Juliette has been a neighborhood gathering place for birthdays, first dates, weekend brunches, and regulars who feel like family. The outpouring of love from this community over the past few days has meant more than we can say.

Right now, our owners are assessing the damage and figuring out next steps, and we don't yet know when we'll reopen. In the meantime, our team of 20-plus servers, bartenders, cooks, dishwashers, bussers, and hosts has lost its income overnight. Many of us rely on weekly pay and tips to cover rent, groceries, and care for our families, and not everyone on our team has access to unemployment benefits.

This fund exists for one reason: to support Juliette's staff while they find new work and new sources of income. Every dollar raised will go directly to our team members.

Where the money goes: Funds will be distributed directly to Juliette staff, split among all team members. We'll post updates here so you can see how your support is being used.
