Our friend and colleague Jorge Soto, a dedicated SoCalGas ETR with the Santa Ana team, and his family recently experienced an unimaginable tragedy. A sudden house fire destroyed their home, leaving them with the heartbreaking loss of their belongings and the place where so many family memories were made.

Thankfully, Jorge and his family made it out safely, but they are now facing the difficult task of rebuilding their lives from the ground up. In a matter of moments, everything they worked so hard for was gone.

Jorge is someone who has always shown up for others — both on the job and in the community. He is known for his hard work, kindness, and willingness to help anyone who needs it. Now it’s our turn to support him and his family during this incredibly challenging time.

Funds raised will help Jorge and his family with immediate needs such as:

Temporary housing

Clothing and basic necessities

Replacing essential household items

Supporting the long process of rebuilding their home and lives
