The Sono Sessions, based in South Norwalk, CT, is a project created by local musicians who set out with the goal of bringing the arts community together in a way that has never been done before. At the core of the sessions, we have a collective consisting of some of the top up-and-coming artists and musicians in the area who come together to showcase other artists’ music through live instruments and film.

Over the first year, the project has exceeded expectations, and the Sono Sessions has truly grown into a community full of support and appreciation for one another as individuals in the music scene.

With this growth comes the need to expand. It all started in a studio apartment with just under 400 square feet of living space that provided a home for the host and a safe space for creatives for over a decade. Over time, the space became a legendary location in the local scene, known for being free of judgment and full of support, no matter your skill set or dreams.

This fundraiser is to help our talented community secure a new location and expand our ability to continue supporting hardworking creatives while applauding the efforts of those who choose to share their art with the world. With this new location, we will continue to offer the same safe and supportive atmosphere that artists have come to love while also expanding opportunities for the public to get involved through creative awareness events and offering access to attend the Sono Sessions as a live behind-the-scenes experience where you get to watch the artists at work.
