Support the Smiths: Recovering from House Fire

The Smith family, Steve, Pam, Ian, Evan and Priscilla, has been an active part of our Broadlands and Ashburn community for 20 years. On Thursday, April 2, their home was consumed by a fire that started in the garage and quickly engulfed the kitchen. Despite the incredibly fast response from multiple fire departments, smoke, flames and then water have destroyed most of the house and displaced the family for the next year or so. Fortunately, the family and their two dogs escaped with minor burns and injuries. The family is currently staying at a local extended stay hotel, thanks to the immediate response by the Red Cross. They left their homes with literally the clothing on their backs. If you are able, please consider a donation here to help the Smiths.
