It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of a beloved member of our Boys & Girls Club family. On Saturday, October 18, 2025, Bri Smith passed away due to complications following surgery after a brief illness.

Bri was a longtime staff member and coach who most recently worked with our younger members. She also grew up as a Club member, making her connection to our organization especially meaningful. Bri’s mother, Dawn Smith, serves as our Club Central Manager.

Bri was an extraordinary part of our Boys & Girls Club family, and her kindness, energy, and dedication touched so many lives. She will be deeply missed by all of us.

A service to celebrate Bri’s life will be held on Saturday, October 25th, in the Kittie Sanson Chapel at Barber-Scotia College. Receiving will be at 11:00am with the service following at 12:00pm. Please keep the Smith Family in your thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time.
