Support the Shows 2023!

We have hosted 100 Acousticool house concerts since 2015, building community through live music events with an emphasis on emerging artists and introducing them to new fans in Connecticut! ALL money paid for each show goes to the headlining musicians, which means we have spent a great deal of personal money to build the necessary infrastructure—everything from sound equipment and chairs to a brand new covered backyard stage to support outdoors shows in the post-COVID age. At times we reach into our pockets to pay openers for shows as well.

Some very wise members of our Acousticool community have encouraged us to be more willing to ask for help when it's needed, and this is the result — our second annual "Support the Shows" fundraiser!

The biggest, number-one thing you can do to support Acousticool and our mission is simply to attend some shows! But if you're in a position to chip in for this fundraiser, we'd appreciate it so much — and so will the artists! This is especially a great way for music fans who live further away to support the series, even if they can't make it to as many shows as they'd like. Or if you just appreciate the series and want to help us keep it going!

All money raised here will be used to add and pay opening acts for Acousticool shows, and defray additional expenses that come with hosting shows — like providing food and drink for artists, sound equipment and engineering, etc. Every little bit donated will help so much to support Acousticool shows in 2023!
