Support the Sheppard Family’s Fight with MDS Cancer

Hey all,

My name is Danielle Sheppard. My mom, Dana Sheppard, my sister, Gina Sheppard, and I are a family who is fighting the battle of our lives. My mom was diagnosed with Myelodysplastic Syndrome in April of last year. Myelodysplastic Syndrome, also known as MDS, is a rare blood cancer.

Everyone who knows my mom knows the strong, loving, God-fearing woman she is. She never fails to help those in need. She is always ready to invite anyone in who is in need of that family love. She never complains and always, always shows up for those around her. She is the rock of our family.

We are raising money to help cover expenses that we have been and will continue to accrue since she has been diagnosed with this disease. My mom is also gearing up for a stem cell transplant to try and cure her, and there are some needs that will have to be met that we will need help covering.

We love all of you and we understand that times are hard, so anything that you can contribute will help. We also ask if you cannot contribute monetarily, to please whisper a word of prayer, give her a kind word of encouragement, or share this with family or friends.
