A dear friend of the Drexel Hill community, Mark "Joey" Schultz & his mother Jeanne Schultz were suddenly displaced from their home due to a terrible house fire on February 24th, 2026. Everyone was able to make it out of the home safe, except for one of the family cats, who was tragically lost in the house fire. Jeanne Schultz has been an ER nurse for over 30 years, dedicating countless hours to the Drexel Hill community.

This sudden tragedy forced the Schultz family to leave with nothing but the clothes on their backs. Currently, there are no updates about the status of the home, but they are actively working on returning to their home as soon as possible.

At this time, the Schultz family needs our help! Let's come together as a community for a family in need! A family that has spent over 30 years serving the Drexel Hill community they love!
